From Tin Shop to Art Gallery
|
Once a tinsmith shop, The Gallery on Main brings to life the second floor of the Morrison & Johnson Hardware Store located in the heart of historic downtown Lacombe.
Established in July 1996, the gallery opened its doors in concert with the 100th anniversary celebration of Lacombe. The gallery boasts 2300 square feet of original art.
It is home to a number of Alberta artists working in a variety of mediums – oils, watercolors, pastel, pencil and mixed media. The Gallery on Main also has a wide variety
of pottery and sculpture to interest you or provide a unique gifting opportunity.
Behind the main gallery, an additional 750 square feet provide a print room and framing area. No matter where your art interests lie, you are sure to find something that
'speaks to you' at The Gallery on Main.
